A descriptive catalogue of the Arabic, Persian and Urdu manuscripts in the University of Bombay library

Description of 243 mss. with extracts, notes, etc. Various indices. Consists of two collections (1) [Government collection of Arabic, Persian and old Urdu manuscripts located in the University of Bombay Library], (p. 1-260) and (2) Arabic and Persian manuscripts of belonging to University of Bombay library, (mss. I-lxii; p. 261-342). The Government collection contains 114 volumes comprising in all 181 works of which 152 Persian, 17 Arabic, 11 Dakhni or old Urdu and 1 Hindustani. The University collection consists of 62 volumes of which 4 Arabic and 58 are in Persian including 20 on Zoroastrian literature.
